Like most people, I recognize that a failure to resolve the Israel-Palestine dispute is the basic cause of conflict in the region. But I don't believe the US and Israel will seriously negotiate on the Palestinian issue while Israel is the only country in the region with nuclear weapons. What is their incentive?

Have no doubt, Iran will never acquire nuclear weaponry!...Israel will dispatch them post haste if they actually get near to the completion of development of such. If you are a proponent of Iran acquiring nukes, you are truly an idiot!

You didn't finish the sentence -Will we ever see peace in the Middle East until Iran gets nuclear weapons dropped on them?

Seriously if you are an advocate of Iran you should talk to the people that flee there.

Look if Iran gets Nukes, Turkey , Egypt and Saudi Arabia will want them too. Say they're governments fall due to an Islamic coup then the US gets nuked. Not a pretty picture. We should keeps nukes away from nations led by theocracies, dictatorships.

I do not believe the conflict is just Israel v. Palestine; it is more Arab v. Arab.

Hammas v. Fatah; Sunni v. Shi'ite v. Kurd; Iraqi v. Persian (long-standing border conflicts).

If an Arab country obtains nuclear weapons, you can kiss the Middle East (and possibly, the rest of the world) good-bye.

no one in that region ought to have nuclear weapons. you can make a case for israel since they are the most genuine democracy, but iran doesn't just rival israel, it rivals egypt, saudi arabia, and other arab nations. none of these countries is responsible enough to have nukes.

The problem is not the nation of Iran having nukes, it's the madman Adminijad having nukes.

I think when he gets his hands on nukes, these weapons will proliferate in the twilight world of spies and terrorists, and no big city will be safe.

Only way we will ever see total and lasting peace in the Middle East is if we stop buying their oil. Those countries will go so bankrupt that they will be willing to do anything we want them to do.

Iran says they will nuke all of their enemies, real and imagined, if they get the bomb. That would cause peace because everyone would be dead. I guess you like that idea.
How disgusting of you...
I'm editing my answer because I forgot to remind you the islamofascists you admire want to chop off your head. You are suicidal, and it's a pity that in order to protect America's freedom we have to also protect you liberals from your islamofascist friends.

Well I suppose we will have peace in the middle east if Iran got nuclear weapons. Mainly because they would destroy all their enemies in bloody genocide.

But if thats what it takes for peace, I dont want it.

Israel has bent over backwards to give the Palestinians what they want. And they refuse it. Why? Because Palestinians dont want land. They want Jews dead. You cant negotiate with people who want genocide and expect them to accept anything less then your utter annilation. How do you compromise with someone whose starting point is your death?

I don't want to see the racist government of Iran get nuclear weapons. I thought hippies were against nuclear weapons, not for giving them to anti-semitic countries.
