My best friend's little girl was taken at the age of 9, from the rarest form of brain cancer found in a child (the particular type was found usually in men, in their 40's or later, and usually African American). She was the most awesome little girl. The cancer caused her to have severe strokes, and she walked in braces, hairless, and burned from the chemo and radiation. She use to come to my work, which was a nursing home, and she would go to all the nurse's station, visiting the elderly and telling jokes. She fought this cancer for two years. Never short of a smile. Even in death, she wouldn't let go until her mom told her that she didn't need to keep fighting anymore, and that it was ok to sleep peacefully now. She was an active little girl, and when they originally found the tumor/cancer, she was playing soccer, and blacked out and had a seizure. She was buried in a Phoenix Suns uniform--because that is who she was, a tomboy all the way! I miss Samantha Jo, her beautiful smile, bright green eyes, and a laugh that never faltered!!!

Mum, died from a mistake by her Doctor and Norfolk & Norwich Hospital when I was ten in 1980.

The passing of my father.He died in 1993 and there is rarely a day that passes,that I do not think of him.He could always make me laugh.I miss his rosie cheeks and smiling eyes.
