Please answer honestly and openly. I will not report any abuse but please beware of certain words and of course peoples feelings. Its time we get this reality out in the open public forum and address it (Sharpton) for what he is.

I'm a liberal and most days I like Al Sharpton. I think he is very sharp. The problem with him is he is unrelenting if their is a racial slur against black people especially if they are a public figure. For example Imus. I am not a fan of Imus' have never liked him, but he was just being Imus and he really didn't mean what he said. Al Sharpton could have been gracious but he wasn't.

Conversely, he can be racist himself. I think it's time to give people the benefit of the doubt if we can. Somethings are obvious like Michael Richards, he was way out of line, but Sharpton has gone too far of late. That whole woman's basketball team thing was ridiculous.

And people who are afraid of Al Sharpton are... racist, bigot, opportunist, or just jerks?

Clearly an opportunist. Somewhat of a bigot. Racist? I don't know him well enough to make that judgment.

He's none of the above. He sold his soul to the democratic party in exchange for political power that never came. Now he's trapped.

I am unsure if he really is a racist/bigot.

He definitely is an opportunist.

He is very intelligent; do not underestimate his guile.

He's the KKK of black people, but he gets away with it because everything everyone says is racist nowadays, except when black people do it.
