LOL they might get votes if a few more of em were?

Politics was not designed to make the eyes glaze over and the audiences yawn with a predictable certainty of outcome?

Somewhere, somehow, we all got too serious, stopped enjoying life, what we did, what we do, lost confidence, in governments, people, places ,ideas, and then went searching elsewhere?

Swinging voters just wanna be able to afford to live, just like everyone else, the idea we become an autocrisy, is why, I as a middle of the road Christian, neither extreme in either direction have a duty to provide for my family first, after my foremost allegence is given to God.

If governments were truly Christian, the idea of who is my neighbor would mean providing for all citizens, not just wealthy?

Finally, how do we an a global community define where one nation is superior or more devine than another when we are all created equal in the sight of God?

Economics being the alocation of scarce resources to insatiable wants, means, the media idea of fame and fortune can be a good marketing area for regligions, but reality? I believe critiscism or victimising as a Christian is not a part of a winning strategy to have a false modesty perhaps being goofy is a great strategy for being popular, if it has charm and appeal?

Yes, from both the Dem's and the GOP. From Dennis looking for a wife last time around to finding a tall drink of water now. Then there is Hillary saying, " I'm your girl" from a women that was called a lot on things but never a girl. Then we have Obama that proves he black enough by showing up late for NAACP . The best has to be the many married GOP candidates claiming to have family values a mainstay of the GOP to Romney the Mormon with only one wife. And who can forget Fred Thompson and his trophy wife who almost wears her clothes

Not all of them. I have looked into Mike Huckabee, Tom Tancredo, and Dennis Kucinich.

Those candidates are staying alive and I take them seriously. Hillary and Barack are especially goofy, in my opinion.

A truly intelligent person wouldn't want the job, so we have to take what we can get. Let's just hope the next one isn't as stupid as Bush.

"Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job."

-- Douglas Adams

I thought I was the only one thinking that way.

And the way they bash the other party and their in-party rivals is just so juvenile.

It's just a popularity game; no substance or character of person is necessary to become president these days...

That depends on which political party you support. It will get worst as we get closer to the elections in '08.
