That won`t happen ,not even for Regular retiree`s unless it is written in CONTRACT form .UNION.
If you`re talking about Social Security ,We usually get one every Jan. - Cost of living Raise .

if you are on ssa every jan IF congress approves one If you are on a secondary one as in railroad. postal. etc It may be at the first of the year or at the first of the fiscal year. any govt base pension means you are at the mercy of you elected officials so if you want one make them give you one join an org like AARP that lobbies for your intrests good luck

I thought there was a small rise in all benefits and pensions every April.

i dont know but i am ready to have one now to help pay for my medicine so i can be around a lot longer
