I'm gonna have surgery number 4 in two and a half years--
can one of you set my IV? The last nurse wasn't very good at it and severed the nerve to my thumb...

Holy moses woman... severed the nerve to your THUMB! WTF... musta been renown?
The hospital formerly known as Washoe left me on their waiting room floor having a seizure while threatening to throw me bodily from the building if I didn't sit properly in a chair... oy ve... incompetence...

And actually I could probably do your IV better then that NURSE! yikes!

It's worth a shot tell him the anestesiologist down the street has made the offer and you will have to go with that unless he can at least match the deal. Actually I can start your IV I am the one to call for a hard stick at the Hospital I work at

awww, shucks maam I can help ya. see this little button here? ya jus keep hittin that thang until ya start to not feel anything...then hit it a few more times...tat aughta do the trick
