No of course not!!! both wars were and are a failure. during Reagans term cocaine and other hard drugs were sold and bought just as easily as they are today. plus dont forget that ecstacy was not illega during the early 80´s. there were a number ecstacy factories in L.A and Texas operating legally and paying taxes. As for the war on terrorism we all can see that it got worse and U.S support and credibility is at its worst in the history of the country.

It's much more effective! It hasn't made us any safer from terrorism, but it's allowed Bush to act like a dictator, declaring himself immune to laws he himself has signed, allowing him to fight a war based on lies against a people that never threatened us, to wiretap without warrants, throw people in prison with no charges or evidence, etc. etc. Those are all things Reagan could never get away with.

I think honestly it is more effective. There is just so many drugs in the USA it's disgusting. I think we are the world #1 consumer of cocaine, isn't that a healthy way to live your life. Family values are encouraged when people use cocaine and also, crime decreases when people use cocaine, haha : (
