leaves are starting to turn already,i see some color this morning

Well, Pretty Kitty, I live in San Diego and I HATE summer. I'm thinking of moving to Portland. I've only been in snow twice in my entire life- it snowed in 1968 (yeah I'm old) and I went to Big Bear and was fascinated by the snow and the crisp air! Summer in S. California is hell for me. Too much humidity and it's too damned hot. I'd be ecstatic if the temp got down to about 60deg. or so. Even the sun can go somewhere else for a few days. I don't know why they even bother to have the weather report on the news- it's the same ol' thing, sun sun sun heat heat heat. I guess you could say I'm ready for Winter.

Forget the ice but snow sounds nice. Though I'd like some fall first. My favorite season.

It's not the heat that's killing me, but the humidity!
Yes, I would love some snow right now. You can keep the ice, I've fallen on enough of it to last a lifetime.

It's been over 100 all week and supposed to be over 100 for the next week, too! I have always hated summer and these temps remind me WHY!

OMG yes!!! i hate it! im living where its to hot to even go outside luckily we have the beach but i sure wish it snowed here in the winter...
