The light needs to be reset using a computer scanner! It should only take a qualified mechanic a few minutes to reset it! There is no way to reset it without the scanner. That light will not reset by disconnecting the battery!

Some auto parts stores offer free code reading, and may be able to reset the light also, depending on the equipment that they have.

they usually reset themselves once the maintenance has been done,but you can have the codes checked out at a service center i done this on one they told me, finally there was no serious problem just get used to it yeah right but 2 years and i have

Cheap and easy??Disconnect the negative battery cable for a couple minutes.
