So everyone's email addresses remain private. I am using both Microsoft Outlook (standard on microsoft xp) and Hotmail. If you could provide details of how to do it on both that would be fantastic. Thanking you in advance.

Put your e-mail address in the To: field. Then put everyone else's e-mail address in the Bcc: field. Bcc stands for blind carbon copy, meaning that no one will see the addresses on that list. Both methods work for Outlook and Hotmail.

With Outlook you can use Mail Merge which is discussed in detail in Outlook Help. Basically you make up a list of people to which you wish to e mail and use mail merge to format and send. Each receiver appears to receive a unique e mail.

Free services that do not charge you for an e mail account cannot use Outlook and usually do not offer this capability.

in case you're speaking approximately sending one message to multiple recipients, use the BCC (blind carbon replica) selection, with the aid of fact the previous respondant shows. in case you're speaking approximately forwards, replica in basic terms the message area leaving out all those forwarding addresses, flow to 'compose' and previous that message into the message field. Then deliver that message as a replace of forwarding it precisely as you gained it.

Use the BBC field. Although if someone is sophisticated enough, or are espoecially using other eqipment, they can find these email addresses easily.
