I USED to vote Republican because I thought that the party was sincere about trying to end judicial activism. Then along came Bush v. Gore and, lo and behold, I'll never vote again.

I typically vote Republican because that party is more open than the democratic party. There are conservatives and liberals running things in the GOP. Romney and Schwarzenegger The are pro choice and pro life Republicans. Santorum and Guilani The GOP is where I find conservatives to vote for. The GOP is where I find people who have actually had to work for a living, balance a budget (yeah they screwed that one up and we didn't vote for them in 2006), and make a payroll. More real world experience in the GOP.

Because I'm not a homosexual, I don't kill unborn children, I don't desire to take the guns away, I don't wish to illegalize the Bible, I don't agree with having sex with every woman I see that has at least half a heartbeat remaining, and I like eating meat.

The Republican party agrees with me.

The Republican party protects my rights more than the Democrats. They keep taxes lower. They believe in smaller government, individual responsibility, capitalism, freedom of religion, states rights, strong military, the constitution, etc. much more than the Democrats. The list goes on.

Kennedy, Kerry, Gore, Pelosi, etc. I think that's enough reason. Now, I'm not all that happy with Republicans either, but we don't really have a 3rd choice.

Good conservative values. Also, the Republican party never took money out of my check and gave it to someone who doesn't have enough ambition to get a job.

because Ron Paul is Republican! Seriously, I believe that peopel should make their own way. I am going to live my life without needing the Government to take care of me, because then I have to sacrifice more and more of my freedom. I don't care about free healthcare, I have my own, I dont need welfare I have a job, and in a capatalist country I should be able to retire my being smart with money not because of crappy social security. I never even cared about politics because (I take care of myself) until now where the current president screwed up the country so bad. Now I am interested in politics and the campaign of Ron Paul!

to be honest, neither party is worth a crap, but the republican parties beliefs come closer representing my personal beliefs that do the democrats. I am anti-abortion, anti-gun control, pro-military/military spending. I am against prohibiting prayer in schools for the dominant religion of the area. I think the pledge of aligiance should be required in schools of the morning. I am against raising taxes, the surest way to help the economy is to let people keep more of the money they earned. I am against welfare, except for people who are unable to work. etc, etc, etc.
