The leather and the steering wheel in my car is kind of faded and I want to know if it would be safe to dye it. If it is where can I buy the dye?

Yes, you can dye it but you may want to use a spray on dye that you can buy at a automotive store, they have about all of color match spray-on dye's.

I went to a shoe repair shop and got some leather shoe dye. I sprayed the white seats in my Corvette. It looked good when I finished and I had no problems with the dye cracking or discoloring until I sold it.

I'm with Seat Covers Unlimited. We offer custom Seat Covers, Floor Mats, and Dash Covers, for your specific vehicle. I agree with the other guy, if your carpets and seats have major signs of wear, with stains and such, getting it steam cleaned at a local detail shop can do wonders. Good Luck!
