I used to clean a pub. I'd start just a little before it closed, and go help the door men put tables back into place. One night there was a group of girls out celebrating and a couple of them got very very drunk. They had been having a good time with a table full of guys next to them. I went to go move a group of tables near by back into place, and one of the girls screamed out that I had stolen her purse. Thankfully one of the door men had been with me all along and knew I hadn't gone anywhere near her table. She was so sure I had done it, she phoned the hotel the pub was in and not only accused me of stealing her purse to my boss, but registered a complaint with the owner.

When I was three years old, I did not know the words "accident" and "on purpose". My Mom asked me if I did something that I had not done. She said, "Was it an accident, or did you do it on purpose"?
The wheels in my little brain were spinning!!! First of all, my Mom was mad! Second, I had to figure out what was the correct answer--accident or on purpose. I sounded out these words in my head. The statement "on purpose" didn't sound as bad as the word "accident". I said (with a question at the end of my sentence), "I did it on purpose". I got spanked with a belt. My brother had done whatever it was that I got accused of. I made sure that my Daughter knew the meanings of words and I never punished her when I was angry.
May God bless you.

Yes. I worked for this EVIL lady at her restaurant last year and one year later she accuses me of stealing from her while I worked there. Come to find out, she had lied on not only me, but quite a number of her ex-employees. Her husband (who works there as well) stated that she has problems and that he didn't know what she was talking about.
You just have to pray for some people.....

Yes, actually just this past Friday. I went to an interview with a company I'd interviewed with back in like January. As soon as the guy sat down he started going on about how the last time I got a job offer with them I didn't return phone calls and fell of the face of the earth, blah blah blah, why should we give you another chance? I was like excuse me???!!! I told him (and the other two there) that I HAD called the company and let them know. I had told the interviewer himself I had another interview and I would make my decision when I found out whether I got a job offer with them.
It didn't feel like an interview. It was an attack. I felt like he was looking at me like it was a waste of his time. I am very displeased with his reaction and will probably discuss it with the office on Monday.

I've never been accused of something I didn't do... although I might've said I didn't do it at the time I was accused, and I've never been in trouble.

I was accused of cheating by my (now ex-) husband. I asked when I supposedly had the time for that with working full time, taking care of our baby, and the house..and the yard..and paying the bills...and grocery shopping...and so on and so forth.
Come to find out, he was hitting on nearly every woman he met...(*laughter*) Regretfully, no one was stupid enough to take him away from me.

Yes, often
and as of late I do the same (only to him)
however, if it weren't for the distance then it wouldn't happen.
Oh god, who am I trying to kid, we're both head cases, so yeah, it will happen, but it's so off the wall and over such outrageous stuff (cake abuse and possibly being held for ransom, flags and cartoons to name just two) that we both end up laughing hysterically.
Don't even get me started on not giving him a drag of my ciggy............wow, that one went on and on an onnnnnn!
