well it could spark a velvet or colour revolution. that said, that will not be happening. years of conditioning, being told to fear and mass consume keeps the sheep busy. in case that is not enough, American idol, what the movie stars are wearing, and other pop culture keep the sheep from thinking, organizing, and getting anything close to strong. this conditioning has also resulted in American consumers passing high quality American made goods for cheaper quality foreign made.

while the sheep mass consume and fear is used as a tool, interesting things have happened like: people believing a 2 party system is a democracy, which ironicly is called an Oligarchy, the job of president only open to the truely rich and connected. one should look at Canada's system , which is mulit party, anyone , even a person born in poverty, with no connections, can make it to the highest office, yet in American, one needs to be rich and connected , and be part of 1 or 2 parties. Which are essenctially the same, one cannot actauly tell the difference between the elephant and jackass, though they do create the illusion of choice, sadly both serve the same foreign masters.

I think you should write the screenplay. It would be a satire, but you would have to market it as a slapstick comedy. I would pay to see it! In reality, i think that all the above statements are true. People would go to jail, and our infrastructure would collapse before politicians stopped getting payed. But, maybe the screenplay would inspire people to take a more proactive role in our government. O.k., so what if marketing a screenplay seems like a crap suggestion... I don't know. What can citizens do to decrease the unethical actions of our political representatives? It seems like voting-for-the-least-worst is not working. Also, I haven't seen much change based on writing to my representatives. Hmmm? If you come up with a viable solution, let me know.

It would be anarchy, and a revolt. Another civil war. You think that taxes are paid just to pay our politicians? What about infrastructure? What about schools? What about low cost health care, libraries, museums?

I think it would bring the USA down. Instead of taking money away from dishonest politicians, why not vote for who you think is honest? Vote for the one who most believes in your values and agendas. Or run for office yourself.

The first few dozen thousand would be prosecuted -- until the entire legal and political system collapsed...
