Anyone who understands the situation would realize that it will take at least 12-18 months to pull out all our troops without putting thousands of them at risk. No one can end the war in less time than that.

And nobody could end it in 1 month without massive US casualties -- at least that's what I keep hearing retired generals and military experts saying.
