I hate smoke, and smokers! Last time I went to Vegas, I went to a show in the Flamingo. It was hell going through the casino! Smoke was everywhere, and my mom, who brought me there for my birthday, kept smoking right in front of me while my dad got lost trying to find the way out. I was fine at the Hilton, because it was ventilated.

I'm staying at Caesars (I'll probably go all around Vegas instead of just staying at Caesars). Is that hotel ventilated?

Caesars Palace & the Forum Shops are extremely well "ventilated"

If you have a problem with smoke. Stay away from the older resorts.
Flamingo
Tropicana
Sahara
Circus Circus
Casino Royale
Slots-A-Fun
Imperial Palace
Bill's Gamblin Hall
Riviera

The only hotels I would recommend downtown would be the Golden Nugget and Main Street Station - MSS is only 10 years old and has very good ventilation and high ceilings, the GN has been renovated several times.

Not that these places are necessarily bad, but for someone who is extremely sensitive to smoke the the new or newly renovated mega resorts have less of a problem.

All casinos have a ventilation system, some better than others. But Caesars is nice at least the last time I was there I did not smell smoke.

Caesars is well ventilated, at least in the rooms and at the casino (can't speak for the show, but in their club it can be a bit smoky). The Flamingo is an older joint and probably did get to refurbishing their ventilation system.

They all are and they are all trying to keep the smoke away from customers. If you entered the address on the map at Google and hit satelite picture, then you will see the Air Conditioner Units on top of the buildings. All I can say is try to spend most of your time at places like the Guineas museum, the tropical exhibit at Mandalay Bay, the pool, the movie theaters at the Orleans, and other places where smoking is not allowed.
One place I like is to get a comic book and chill at the top of the stratosphere after I went on the rides.

Caesars and Luxor were well ventilated. I would have to say that Excalibur and Paris where the 2 that really got to me.
