I moved in with my older sister (2 states away from home) when I was 14. She and her husband took me in when they really couldnt afford it. That Christmas they had no money at all but they got 10 bucks together and went to the dollar store and got all the cutest lil things just so I would have something for Christmas. I will never forget it.

My first bicycle as a kid, I loved it and was a natural.
Within hours of my granddad teaching me I was zooming along
at breakneck speed.
When I wanted to show it off at School, somebody cycled straight towards me . I panicked and veered to the left, straight
trough the schools' giant 4 by 2 yard window.
I hadn't learned how to brake yet, I passed out and woke up
covered in blood ( all superficial cuts )surrounded by a bunch of worried adults.
The only thing I wanted to know was if the bike was O.K..
Best and most memorable birthday ever.

Usually the present or though given with the right intention. It's my birthday soon, my best present would be a card from my mother who has forgotten my birthday for the last 3 years. Presents mean nothing if the right person forgets.

My Super Nintendo after years of playing a bloody Master System. (Alex the Kid in Wonderland was a great game though!)
I ended up being better than God at Super Mario Kart. Champion of the Rainbow Cup more times than Jesus blessed people sneezing.

Give him an address book (a "little black book" if you can find one) and fill each page with your name, phone number etc.... You can give him a candy dish filled with Hershey's Kisses and Hugs and write a cute little note about when ever he eats one to think of you giving him a hug or a kiss! A key chain or visor clip with a guardian angle on it. You can find lots of cute greeting cards that are funny or romantic or even suggestive. If you put your mind to it you can come up with lots of clever ideas that will surprise him and not break the bank! Have fun with it!!!

wooo, what a question...my daughters birthday is christmas eve... my mum was discharged from hospital the day after my birthday following her road accident and last christmas I was fortunate enough to encounter someone very special. Right now, I'm sat in my room alone ... but the memories are irreplaceable.

My birthday is in Sept. and last year my friend and I (her birthday is the day after mine) took our kids (ages 4 and 5) to Honolulu for the weekend. We ate at fun restaurants, went to the zoo and the aquarium, went dancing at a kid-friendly place, and took a catamaran ride. It was great! We're doing it again this year -- already have our hotel and plane reservations. :)
Also, I mentioned to my ex-husband that there is a concert in Honolulu I want to go to in early October. He bought tickets to the concert, airfare for me and my son, and 2 nights in a hotel so I can go and enjoy! Pretty good ex-husband, huh?

2 different times I have got puppies. Last year I got 2 tickets to the Fiesta Bowl so we could go watch Boise State beat Oklahoma. Go Broncos.

After 6 months of my hubby telling me to "shut the f*ck up!" whenever I sang along to my full symphonic recording of 'Les Miserables'; my Christmas present from him was a "Theatre Weekend" - which included train travel, two nights in a 4 star hotel & tickets for the show!
Maybe he's a keeper after all... ;o]
