I'm not sure of your goal here. But if you need to provide a voice demo with a range of voices I suggest that you read some E. A. Poe.
Read the poem "Bells". It provides a great opportunity to show a range of moods and emotions. The Poe short story, "Telltale Heart" also has a range, slowly building from normal to insanity.
