If it was a member in my house I would handle it from within & see that the people got there stuff back, but would never turn them in. If it was a family member that didnt live in my house then I would resort to my number one rule in life. Mind my own business.

wow that's a tough one...well, even if no one was physically harmed, having your possessions stolen can be emotionally traumatic, not to mention being a financial hardship. i would probably speak to the family member about the situation and ask them to secretly return the stolen goods. hopefully that would be the end of it. i would warn him/her that if they didn't resolve the issue or if it happened again, i would turn them in. it would be incredibly difficult but i would feel guilty knowing that by protecting my family member i am pretty much an accessory to the crime.

Blood is thicker than water. But, I might beat the **** out of him. Or maybe other things would happen. What would you do if you found out one of your family members was a serial killer? Double agent? Hit man for the mob? Bigamist and the women knew about it and approved? Professional politician? Lawyer?

I would turn them in!!! Just because no one got hurt doesn't mean that a crime wasn't committed. Any moral person would turn them in.
May God bless you.

I would, I was robbed excatly one month ago in my hotel and was punched in the face. I was scared and there was no need to hit me when I complied with everything. I would be the first to turn any one in who robbed.

I would. Even though they're family, they are still doing something wrong & by not turning them in I would be doing something wrong, too, because I knew about it.
