Free energy possibly since Dick Cheney is making too much money off of the extreme oilprices to allow for anyone to threaten that...
Antigravity I don´t think there would be a reason to suppress since the cost of launching spacecraft would then become as expensive as turning on a lamp. The shuttle is going out of commission soon and a replacement vehicle is desperately needed.

The beauty of living in a rational society with a scientific community is that such discoveries cannot be suppressed. Same goes for 200-mpg carburetors and magical cures for cancer. You can be sure that if it is not common knowledge it does not exist or it was attempted and did not work.
There would be too many people walking around who knew about the underlying science and would publicize it if it existed.
Also, in a rational society, there are too many people who have sense enough to know that anti-gravity and free energy are beyond the realm of possibility.

Free energy...
My goodness it is all around you and you have not managed to take advantage of any of it yet???
The Sun beats down on you almost every day.
The wind blows quite frequently.
Waves rise and fall all the time.
The tide comes in and goes out every day.
Hot Springs are easy sources of heated water/steam.
Ground water about ten feet down is a wonderful heat sink and can assist in cooling homes if you only take advantage of it... Tap into it, run it through your cooling system, and exhaust it back into a pond or drainage field.
So what is the big secret? We know about all this... We just have not done anything about it because gas was 75 cents a gallon...Now it is $3.00 per gallon and you have some concerns???

Nope. The government doesn't have enough money or authority to keep the inventor's mouth shut.

No.
What would be the point of suppressing them? And who would be doing the suppressing?
