My husband works with this man that has a daughter that is a bar tender. Once she came over and laid in our booth, and told him, some one got a door put on their house, and she needed one. This last time we were in the bar he paid her, and when she came back she tried to put his money in his shirt pocket. My husband told me I was making a big deal out of it, and got mad at me because I told him about it. He got mad at me, left me at the bar.

If you did make a big deal about it--or worse, made it a long-standing deal by bringing up it over and over and over again in small ways--I would probably be upset too.

Is there any indication that he is interested at all? Probably not. The bartender is most likely putting on a show because that's her job, and even if it's not, it's still not a big deal if your husband isn't interested.

The bigger issue here is probably your insecurity in your marriage. If your husband felt it was necessary to leave you at the bar (I hope you had a way home!), he is feeling like something is really wrong. It will get worse if you don't try to work it out and you are both reasonable.

Good luck.

Your husband is most likely having an affair, even if it is just a flirt one and not with sexual contact. He is feeling guilty about it too so he is trying to cover up what he is doing wrong by putting the blame on you. Your marriege is in trouble regardless of how much so you just need to face him about it. Do not become accusative but state why you 'feel' that he is either flirting or having a relationship with someone else and ask him to clarify and be honest with you, even if it means the end of your relationship. That is the only way. If he will not face you with eye contact and a good wholesome conversation about it then there is a very good possibility that he is lying to you. The only way to find out for sure is to have him followed by a detective or someone you can trust, but not a guy friend unless he is related to you or it will back fire and you will be accused of having the affair with that guy. Be sure you get photos. That may seem cruel but at this time its your word agains his if he won't come clean.

he left you at the bar? that seems a little dramatic, but i don't know how heated the argument was. don't approach the girl, because if nothing is going on then you end up looking crazy. besides, she didn't take vows to protect your marriage, he did. if you confront/talk to anyone, it should be your husband. if there is an affair, he's at fault, not her.

First he shouldn't have left you alone. You could have been in trouble. Second, it does seem suspicious. I would talk with the bartender and see what is up. E mail me if you care to chat more. Good luck

bottom line is this....it is YOUR husband and NO OTHER woman should EVER put her hands on YOUR husband! she should have handed him the money and NOT put it in his shirt pocket...and if he wouldn't take the money, then she should have given it to you.
