Time mag. states that there are 34,000,000 slaves in the world. Most are in Arab countries. The brutal slave trade continues. A slave can still be bought in Libya and Sudan for $80.00 . Most are captured Christians from Dafur and other places. To deny this crime, is typical of most moslems. But it still continues. Why ?

Because there are still economic advantages in owning slaves, and the local governments have little interest in ending the practice. Slave owners are often government supporters or officials. Many of the slaves are also Muslims.

Slavery is still OPENLY practised in a number of African nations, mostly Muslim, and in the Middle East by Muslim countries.

Other forms of slavery, especially sex slavery and child slavery is practised illegally in every country in the world. A number of Arab nations locate and take back to their own countries young women and girls from the US, Canada and West Europe.

Young girls are traded and sold in the sex industry and transported to other countries. Mexican girls and many Asian girls, and a few Eastern European girls into the US.
Many Eastern European girls into Western Europe and Britain. Girls from Vietnam, China and Laos end up in Cambodia or in Thailand where girls from Myanamur (Burma), Cambodia and Malaysia can also be found.

dude people in Darfur are not christian, they are muslims, the christians in sudan live in sourthern sudan, not northwestern. And yes slavery does exist in Africa, mainly sudan, Mauritania and yes its majority muslims enslaving other muslims or other non muslims. The Islamic culture hasnt changed much within the past 1,000 years, life in the middle east and Islamic africa is pretty much the same as it was 1,000 years ago, their customs, traditions, e.t.c really havent changed that much compared to christians in europe and the U.S.. Arabs can tend to be racist, and Islam cant tend to be a harsh religion on human rights, womens rights, e.t.c
