They will reach them one day. Unfortunately, they won't be alive. They have been down there a week and probably have no oxygen left since they were not found in the large cavity that they thought they were in. If they have oxygen, then they still may be alive if they were not crushed. Food is not a problem since it's only been a week, but if they haven't been able to find water down there, that could be a big one too. I hope they are alive, but it's not likely that they are at this point.

at some point they should be able to find them, but do remember that they could be buried under tons and tons of ruble. look at it this way... remember back on 9/11 it took weeks and weeks to find bodies... this is basically the same situation

o i also heard that in the opening where they think the miners are there is less than a 8% oxygen level in there, so this would make it very hard for them to survive.

lets hope they over come the odds and make it out alive

The pocket they reached with drilling hole had very low amount of oxygen. Not enough to sustain those miners. That's also likely for other pockets for where the miners may be trapped. Hopefully they can reach them in couple of days, but it really doesn't look good.

We got the tip off the other day when they reported the oxygen level at 7% when the first hole broke through. There is no reason to believe the oxygen level is any better anywhere else. And, you can't survive for more than a few minutes at that level. It was too late several days ago.

No I think they have sadly already passed. I don't like that co owner guy. I think he lied about the earthquake being the cause for the accident becuase also the seismologist stated that there was no earthquake in the area..and also everytime they do something...they miss their mark..If he is giving the orders, I think he is trying to make sure they dont' come out to cover up something they were not suppose to be doing.

I think they are doing all they can in the conditions they are in. I heard they had to build roads to get equipment in. Unfortunatly it is a slow process and they have to assure the safety of the rescue crew. I so feel for the families. I think I would go mad not knowing for so many days. I pray for a miracle and that they are still alive.

I hope that they find them soon. I have family members who have worked in the mines in that area. The news reports don't look good though, but you have to have hope.

I think we all hope and pray they will, however the more time that goes by without reaching, or hearing them, there is less chance they will find them alive.
Keep your fingers crossed, and pray.

When have they never been able to reach them?

Of course they will.

So sad.
