the macs are to expensive

The Macs also suck. May I ask why you want the camera built in? I've found it more convenient and useful to have a USB camera that I can move around -- helpful if you want to show a different view or the lighting is poor. I recommend 3com's web cams.

HPs come with cameras, Macs are terrible and software is difficult to get.

a lot of laptops now come with a camera. i know that toshiba and hp have built in cameras....
