I'm keeping my tortoise in a tank when its sleeping and letting it out on the gardan when its not. What is the best thing to use on the floor of the tank? And what is the best thing to use for bedding?

thiers a product called forest floor i believe. you can find it at your local pet store . i probly wouldnt use the play sand. i could clog him up if he ate it.

Depends on the tortoise. Many say a mixture of sterile play sand and topsoil (no fertilizers) or play sand and bed-a-beast mixed makes a good substrate. Just make sure the tortoise doesn't eat off the substrate and ingest it.
