its invisable, unlike its cousin, the divorce bug, which one can usually see coming a mile away, and bites much harder,and leaves nasty scars, (but im not bitter)

I'm married, so I would say I have been bitten by the love bug :)
In all honesty, I don't think it's something you see coming. I think it's a realization. In my opinion, it's when you realize that you can't imagine your life without the other person in it. I realized it when one day my (then) boyfriend was talking about how he would like to get married in the future and it hit me while he was talking that I wanted to be the woman he married! We got engaged a few months later.

Is has bitten me in the past, but I found that the drug store has some really good salve for it.
Takes care of it right away.
