Im going to london for a week, because of my studies, but I´ll have a few days off and I want to know the city, my hotel is paid and I have breakfast, I want to visit the museums I know they are for free.

How much do we need (2 persons) for food and transportation? (more or less) Thanks

Hi!

London is pretty expensive!

Depending on how far you plan to go, a tube ticket can cost anywhere between around £3 to about £8. You can also buy a day ticket which allows you to go around all zones. If you buy an Oyster card online before you go to London, it will be much cheaper.

You can find details on this website:

A pub lunch will be about £8 and alcoholic drinks are about £3 each.

If I were you, I'd take at least £30 out for the day.

If you get bored with London after a day or two, Birmingham is only 90 minutes on the train and is much cheaper and more compact, with plenty of bars to visit and places to shop! ;-)

Depends upon what you buy and where you want to go. It is rather impossible to tell you what you are going to want to bring back with you and eat while you are there. Bring a bit more than you think you will need, or look ahead and see which museums you want to visit and what the prices for admission are.

research online ...... http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/home/
it all depends on what type of budget you have, what exactly u want and where you want to go. It really can range that much in london.

I'm sure you know how expensive London is, but there are so many temptations too, even if you are trying not to spend loads. I'd take between 50 and 100 quid to be sure. Day travel passes are not that much.

hmmmmmmmm

perhaps around £50 each, but minimum £30 each, depending on what and where you eat, and more if you want to go shopping.
