There are some liars on here. No to tell you the truth he livs but there is a twist to it. Harry Potter had to die in order to break the protection and the horcrux that lived in his body. This is way him and voldemort shared the same qualitys. He did die but not really because he was just killing the part of voldemorst soul that lived inmside of him.

SPOILER ALERT
Yes and no. there is a chapter when he learns from snape's memory that in the end, he has to die anyway, so he sets of so that voldemort can kill him with the killing curse, which happens. the next chapter, he is somewhere between life and death after getting shot with the killing curse when dumbledore comes along and explains that the night voldemort went to kill baby harry potter and the curse backfired, the blast was so hard that it split voldemort's soul, which bounced around the room and went into baby harry potter, making him a horcruxe. since he was a horcruxe, he had his soul and a part of voldemort's soul, and because of that, he had 2 lives in a way, therefore, he survived the killing curse twice and coming back to life after voldemort killing him. Voldemort ended up killing harry and harry ended up killing voldemort once and for all because of the fact that all of voldemort's horcruxes got destroyed or died. Riddle's Diary got destroyed by harry, marvolo's ring by dumbledore, Slytherin's locket by ron, Hufflepuff's cup by Hermione, the Diadem of Ravenclaw by Crabbe when he tried to kill harry during the battle of hogwarts, Nagini by Neville, and the portion of voldemort's soul in harry by voldemort.

if Harry Potter died in the last movie, which is the 5th book, there'd be no more Harry Potter and we know there are 2 more books. if you mean the last, most recent book, SPOILER ALERT!!, he dies, but comes back.

i doubt it that would be such a bad ending everybody would give it bad reveiws because in a movie the good guy always wins (if u havnt noticed) plus he kissed a girl there would have to be a huge funeral for him and then the movie would have to have another part for life without harry potter it would just make no sense if he dies
