Last feburary my gf lost her dad and it broke my heart i couldnt be there to hold her or dry her tears. But before she told me he passed i knew he was gone because the night he passed away he visited me in my dreams. He just sat there and asked me questions and for weeks he kept coming to me i was wondering why he kept coming to me and not to my gf?

hmmm....well...dreams don't exactly always make sense. but maybe God was trying to give you a sign. maybe her dad wants to talk to you through your dreams. it might sound weird, but it could be true. and yes dreams do have meanings but not all. im pretty sure that this dream has a meaning, though. maybe he kept coming to you because there was things he wanted to tell you. and maybe you two had some kind of connection. i dont know. but i also think he was asking questions because he wants to know more about you and to see if your right for his daughter.

It could be he is trying to talk to you from the other side.
Some people don't believe this stuff, but I do.
I know I have had dreams of a car wreck and with in 48 hours someone I know will die or tell me that someone they know has died.
I had a car wreck dream once and the next day my best friend died in a car wreck.
I had a car wreck dream a few nights ago and the next day as I was walking passed my neighbors trailer I saw that they had had had a wreck and that their truck was totaled. I think this dream was trying to tell me that I would find out about their wreck that had happened a few weeks back.
Yes, some dreams do have meaning and some are our unselfconscious I think that is the word I am looking for here, anyways when we sleep and have been under stress say in your case her father dying your mind could be reflecting on that as your mind down loads while you sleep.

Dreams definitely have great meaning. I recently lost my brother and he visited me for weeks. i think spirits come to the person who would most understand what they have to say. Being that it was so difficult for your friend it is no wonder he chose you to talk. Spirits are mainly around to tell you they are really ok. Usually in a dream - like state of mind when you are just falling asleep or just waking they take advantage of your relaxed state of mind to visit - My brother's spirit would sit by my bed when I was just about asleep because he knew how I hated to be awakened...I guess you want to try to remember what he said if anything and maybe it will give her some comfort to know. You can say " I drempt about your dad and he said..." good luck! I hope your friend is ok.

Yes, and u just answered you're own question. Her dad kept coming 2 u in a dream.( u thought nothing of it until he pass. Now u know dreams have meanings.) Now all dreams don't have meaning some are just dreams example you find a bag full of money u can look all u want you'll never fine the bag of money that was in your dream.(Good Luck.

Dreams come from your brain, and they're a "message" to your brain. Your brain is talking to itself. Whatever you get out of your dreams is the exact interpretation you were supposed to get. You can't be wrong.
Dreams are not premonitions. People dream about people all the time. It's like darts -- if you throw enough of them, sometimes you'll hit a bullseye.

Some times our subconscious attempts to tell us things. A lot of times, these messages come to us in our dreams. If you want to give it meaning, perhaps her dad was checking to see if he approved of you before he left for good. I would talk to your gf about these dreams, and let her know that you are there for her.

The night my g/f died in a car crash ..I woke up around the time of her death as she died instantly . I saw the crash but thought it was my husband at the time ... I didn't find out about her time of death untill the autopsy. my husband was gone during that time .when he came in I was relieved. I think dreams have a pupose especially w/ those we love.....

I asked about my dream today in a question, I believe in all dreams, I named my dogs from dreams, and I saw my cousin being killed, etc. I believe.

He wants to make sure that you're going to keep his daughter safe.
The same thing happens to me with certain people I know that have passed on.
