Communication studies found that about 60% of our understanding of others comes from interpreting non-veral bhr--not the verbal content. I'd think that a good video camera and a friend could give you some unbiased feedback for you, yourself to evaluate. Block the words--just do a number of dialogues, so you won't know what you're saying you are saying on the screen. Just evaluate the message from your own non-verbals. Other peoples' opinions who don't know you, would also be helpful! Viewing ourselves can be brutal--often what we see contradicts what we believe we're saying and doing! (I have a personal example when I was studying if you'd be interested in hearing.} But it is like finding gold, when we can modify our non-verbals to correspond with what we really mean and feel! Good Luck!!

I become more friendly looking when I am not focused on something, like work, dinner, laundry-I mean how many people smile while doing dishes?? But the not looking at people's faces is something you can work on. But, a bit at a time, don't just stare at the next person you see.

I have had a similar problem, always looking 'sad'. Whilst working in security (one of the most boring jobs) I fixed my face so I had a pleased expression on my face as not to scare customers!

Maybe you should look at people, look at people in their eyes, connect with people on a soul level.
To really connect to a person-in-love as above, this softens and brings light to the face.
Love is the great unliner.
Look at your anger, this will also harm the body in time.
Ask yourself, why you avoid looking at people in the face.
Life, be in it.
It really is a beautiful world.

You are probably thinking, and don't realize that you are frowning. Be calm, put a smile on, and look at people with the smile. It won't hurt to say something too. "Nice hat. Nice day. What's up. How are you doing?" Try it.

You're thinking too much. Just figure out what it is you want that will make you happy, and go after it.

Make things happen. Act on it.
