could something be broken or what? dont know if it's a result of reving the engine a little, then slamming it in gear and burning out. - also my rear suspension squeaks. i lubricated the bushings but i think it's the shocks that are still doin it. they're about a year old.

If you are abusing your car then you are getting what you asked for. I have had a few broken flex plates for 305 gm engines so it may be the cause. Without a better noise description that is the best guess, also check the oil level and tell us more about the noise, when does it do it? Only in gear? only when I am moving, you know clues... shocks rarely squeak so look harder for the squeak also.

if you were doing neutral drops (jeeez) maybe broke the rear trans mount...

you blew a head gasket...or maybe cracked the block
