That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Aaron is a biblical name. It has nothing to do with race or ethnicity. That's like telling a white girl she can't name her baby Tanisha. A name is a name. Honey, that's your baby, you name him whatever you want. Just because you're Mexican doesn't mean you have to name your baby Mexican names. And if I wanted to name a baby Carlos, I don't think anyone should have a problem with it. Sheesh, at least you don't want to name your baby Lester....

Aaron's not really a "white" name, but it's not really a "mexican" name either.

Think of your kid's future. Who are you and who do you want your kid to be. Think of the benefits of having an "American" sounding name, and the benefits of a name that reflects the child's ethnic background. There are certainly negatives to both as well.

Keep in mind, Obama would have a better shot at the presidency if his name were "John Johnson".

If you like the name, it shouldnt matter the ethnicity of the name. Thats sad that there is even a racial profiling on names!

I believe it's a Hebrew name. I know it's not a 'white' name as it was used in the Middle East, and is in the Bible (and we know they weren't white)
More importantly, it's a name, if you like it, and it's not ugly, then go for it.

As far as I know, names don't have colours. Unless it's like a colour name such as Ruby, Amber, Jade, Bianca, Ebony, Coral, Goldie, Hazel, Scarlett, etc., etc. You get the point.
