.The spider isn't dead, you have just placed it in an environment where it has plenty of food, crumbs, other spiders etc and the various chemicals in your carpets.
In time it will grow larger and mutate into a blood seeking rabid spider and possibly incorporate parts of your vacuum cleaner in a new cybernetic body it will have built for itself.
My advice would be to take the vacuum to the nearest quarry dump it in a hole and fill it with concrete, take your family and move to a different state, in case it burrows out and tracks you down... oh and buy a new vacuum cleaner

That poor little thing is still alive in the dust bag inside the vacuum cleaner. Not fair! Take the dust bag outdoors and spread the contents out on the ground somewhere where it will not matter and just walk away from it and that poor little spider will find its way to the surface and be able to live its little life again. You avoid karmic retribution. (Whew!)

It in all probability relies upon on the style of vacuum cleanser. i exploit an Electrolux canister vacuum, and that i think of it incredibly is available that a trojan horse sucked into the bag could later have the potential to circulate slowly out the hose, if it is not buried under too plenty debris or injured.

Agree with Moofie's Mom. JUST THINK of the icky bugs that will thrive in your abode because you killed the spider.
Spiders are voracious hunters, and the ones you SEE are usually good ones. It's the ones you don't see (recluses and widows) that can hurt you.
Learn you arachnids, dear. There are many beneficial ones.

It will live in the vacuum cleaner bag eating the dust mites you suck up and getting fatter and fatter until it bursts out and comes to get you.

Why can't you just pick it up with a tissue and put it outside. It isn't doing you any harm so why do you harm it? A true gentleman? Thats a laugh.
