I think in Massachusetts they weigh the candidates and give them an IQ test and the fattest, stupidest one wins...

It's all in the name, Kennedy. The Kennedy family are like royalty in the U.S., never mind the fact that they made their millions as rum runners during the prohibition, and the fact that Uncle (I'll drive you home Mary) Kennedy owns several oil distribution companies and houses all of his money off shores.
It's just like Hillary Clinton..If her last name was anything else (i.e. if she wasn't the former first lady) she wouldn't stand a chance..She's not the only female running for president, she's the only one getting any attention.

Undoubtedly, for the same reason that the voters of Utah keep re-electing one of Kennedy's friends, Orrin Hatch. Kennedy is represents his state as effectively as Hatch represents his state.

Ted Kennedy should be in prison. He let that girl die while standing on the road trying to figure out how to save his political career.

confident ...i agree , i do no longer understand why they save reelecting him Sen Ted kennedy has hardly visited the Senate for better than a one year because of the fact of a conflict with concepts maximum cancers....he's not appearing his responsibilities as senator anymore

Because lots of New England is full of folks who think they cannot make it without unions and government protection. So they vote for the more socialist candidates.
