Is the fox-spin really that good?

I mean, how many times do we have to hear quips blaming him for everything from masterminding 9/11 to violating that sweet little innocent Monica, to stealing furniture from the whitehouse?

I guess the people throwing these accusations around are just not educated enough to name a Democrat who is currently on CSPAN?
(too busy watching the 700 club to learn who their Senator is...)

koalatcomics - do you feel good about reposting that over and over again all day?
It's all lies - Republicans still hold the record on all of that.

If you had their record for the last six years of corruption, incompetence, and failure, what would you do?

We've had one Democrat president in the last 27 years. In his administration, we had 8 years of peace and prosperity, a growth of 20 million new jobs, an economic boom, and a budget surplus.

Seems pretty clear who is at fault here.

Eight years of peace, I can agree with. Prosperity...no.

Do you know why there was 20 million new jobs created under Clinton? Because of taxes. Taxation under Bill Clinton was so high, that families could no longer afford to have one person working and one person keeping house. Both the husband and the wife had to work to make ends meet.

Bill Clinton had nothing to do with the economic boom. He was just in office at the right time. The economic boom was because of the dot com business boom and Silicon Valley in the 1990s, not because of Bill Clinton.

And the only budget surplus, REAL budget surplus, under Bill Clinton was during his first year in office, when the government was still running under George Bush Sr's budget and the benefits of Reaganomics. The eight budgets Clinton put through were mostly PROJECTED surpluses - not ACTUAL surpluses. In fact, when Clinton left office this country was in a recession - although that fact is rarely mentioned.

[To the OP]
My Senators are Arlen Specter (R-PA) and Bob Casey, Jr. (D-PA). I don't pay attention to CSPAN because I work for a living and don't have time to sit in front of a TV and watch trained liars spew their rhetoric (Democrats and Republicans both) because I need to make money to make ends meet because the increase in the minimum wage just drove up the cost of living drastically and I'm still making the same amount because I'm not union and I had the initiative to get the training for a job and to look for a job that pays more than minimum wage.

I am a Republican (turning to Libertarian soon) and a Conservative (not a Bible-thumping NeoConservative) who isn't a member of any of the main stream religions. I'm the exact opposite of everything the Democrats want people to think Republicans are.

I'm not a Christian or a Catholic. I work for a living. I'm not rich, I make less than $22,000/year.

And Bill Clinton ended up being the focus of this terrible decade because of all the mistakes he made and the media ignored because of the simple fact that he was a Democrat.

Tax increases under Bill Clinton were drastic.

Military funding cuts under Bill Clinton were drastic.

Terrorist attacks against national US holdings and US holding aboard were numerous.

Bill Clinton had almost ten chances to have Osama bin Laden assassinated by the CIA after the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He didn't take even one.

Bill Clinton rented out the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House to wealthy foreigners for, you guessed it...campaign donations.

Bill Clinton was one of only two Presidents to ever be impeached.

Bill Clinton was the first President to be accused of rape.

There is one good family values guy...of course, only the rich and people without jobs knew that. All of the middle class was busy working, both the husbands and wives, because of his tax increases.

It's amazing. You can destroy America. You can destroy America's reputation around the world. You can use the Presidency for personal gain, slaughter hundreds of thousands of innocent people... but you can't get a BJ in the oval office, cuz that's bad.

Clinton did some things that were wrong, amidst all the good things that he did. But Bush has created true evil throughout the world.

Anyone who can't distinguish between those two things is as corrupt as Bush is.

On this forum, it's been my experience that there are a lot of cons who have nothing to fall back on so they hammer Bill Clinton.
Although I realize that not all cons do this, there are enough doing who do this, so expect at least one "slick willy" answer, if you're asking something about the current administration.

IT'S SO OBVIOUS, the last 27 years have been filled 19 years with Republicans presidencies and they just can't defend their greed, corruption sex scandals, bigotry, more corruption, draft dodging, drug and alcohol abuse, murder for oil and more corruption, ETC ETC. So they pick on and blame Clinton like the cowardly pissants they are.

Well you left out rape, having people killed, turning the White House into a motel for his own profit and of course the FBI files that he had in his possession to blackmail people.

Clinton by his inaction let the twin towers get hit in 93 than the embassies 2 each, the Mogadishu attack and the USS Cole.
He and the Left won defeat and have innocent Americans blood on their hands and heads.

This is a great decade in the US. I wonder what country you are in. Bill Clinton has kept himself in the lime light. Other presidents have retired and gone home. With his constant re-writing of history, we are reminded almost daily of what a sleaze bag he really is.
Now that Mrs. Clinton is running for President, their last name is starting to sound like a swear word to me.
