looking at buying a Dell Inspiron model but stuck between 2. both have similar a specs ( 2gb ram, vista etc.) just don't know which processor to go for:- intel core duo T7100 Processor (1.8GHz,800MHz,2MB L2 cache) or an AMD® Turion™ 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL64?

These two are very very close, so much so that it is really hard to definitively say one over the other. What I would recommend is to look at all the other specs, especially the video cards, and if everything else is equal, go with the cheaper one.
