i currently have my wii connected to my wireless router. The router is downstairs and my wii is upstairs, and when i play online i experience alot of lag. I was wondering if i bought a wii usb adaptor, would it improve the quality of my connection?

I doubt it. It works very well if you move it closer to the router.

You could replace the aerial (antenna) on the router with a high gain aerial. The ones that come with the router have a gain of about 2 dB. You can buy aerials which are directional and you can tilt them to point upstairs towards the Wii. Gains of up to 18 dB are available.

If you put them both on the same floor it will work better. But the other thing is it could be a rubbish wireless router or the person it just really far away.
