Some estimate that the number of Iraqis killed in this insane, unjustified, unconstitutional, immoral 'war' exceeds 675,000. The Bush administration, naturally, would try to minimize the numbers through skewed methods of counting the dead.
The point is: whether it's 675,000 or 67, it's too many. There is no excuse for war, no justification for such war crimes.

The only reason why I'm typing anything is because some of the answers absolutely astounds me. One answer I read had some person quoting it's weak to use the gun. Are you ******* serious? How about what the father of our country said "to ensure peace, you must always have a constant readiness for war." Did you miss that one? If you are an American, why in the hell do you care about anyone over in Iraq (except our soldiers of course)? If you cared so much about the Iraqis, then go over there and give them a hand. Since you and them are so close. They wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire. With that being said, we are all going to be slaves of the Jihad. We will have another terrorists attack on this country because stupid *** Americans forgot what happened on 9/11. Do you think we should just pull out? What would happen if we did that? Do you care or do you have your own political agenda?

I hate Liberals with all of my heart. Christian or not I hate you all. If I wasn't afraid of going to hell and prison, I would have already began my shooting spree. You and your Liberal pals everywhere are the single reason why this country is weak in the eyes of many. Thank you for making our country soft.

Unlike his previous two speeches -- at the U.S. Naval Academy and before the Council on Foreign Relations -- some members of the audience were not supportive of Bush's policies, as suggested by the tone of questions the president unexpectedly invited after his speech.

One woman asked how many Iraqis had been killed in the war.

"I would say 30,000, more or less, have died as a result of the initial incursion and the ongoing violence against Iraqis," Bush said. "We've lost about 2,140 of our own troops in Iraq."

White House spokesman Scott McClellan later said Bush was basing his statement on media reports, "not an official government estimate."

He also said: "I made a tough decision. And knowing what I know today, I'd make the decision again. Removing Saddam Hussein makes this world a better place and America a safer country."

Sorry, not answering your question, but responding to Razor Jim's comment (the first answer).

Indeed Shia and Sunni's is a crazy fight. But so were the fights between Catholics and Protestants. But the silliest thing I've heard is encroaching foreign land to create the nation of Israel to fulfill a prophecy made more than 2000 years ago in the biblical times, well supported by the Christian Zionists! Dare to speak about those?

Iraqis are killing each other. Sunni vs. Shia......it has been going on for generations. All because they have a small difference in how they view the Koran. Silly isn't it?
