He is so bad with the red sox

he blew the lead vs the O's. (Idk, why Francona took out Okajima)

after his last pitching performance (1/3, 4 ER)

b4 that, 1 IP, 0 ER, but did give up a hit and a walk

and then his debut 1 IP, 1 ER, 2 H

What is wrong with him?

Pressure of Boston? the set up role?

I don't know, man...I heard about it too...I hope Gagne doesn't really mean gag me...They got Gagne to set up for Papelbon supposedly...So far, all I've seen are a couple of blown saves, and the Yankees get down to 4 games back, damn it...I don't know what the hell is going on...All I can say is Dice K and Beckett are pitching well enough, thank God...We don't know what the hell we get when Wakefield pitches...I'm also wondering if Schilling shouldn't still be in Pawtucket...

Some PPL just can't handle the pressure of the city their playing for! Boston and Ny are the toughest cities to play BB for,,You either Flourish,or you bomb out,,There's no in between.. Maybe he's nervous,he came to the team in first place, and he's trying too hard!! Never no what's going on in a BB players head!

He's only been there about a week. Give him a chance. Surely the Red Sox won't keep him very long if he sucks as much as you say he is and he has been.

1) He was meant to be a closer, not a set-up man

2) I'm beginning to wonder--and I'm a Dodger fan saying this--if during his "Game Over" days with the Dodgers he was on steroids. He began to go downhill after MLB started testing for steroids. He stunk as a starter (I remember a co-worker and I calling him Eric "Gag-me") then became the best closer in the game this side of Trevor Hoffman basically overnight.

Too many injuries took their toll. Why do you think The Dodgers released him in the first place.

He just sucks, but he will probably sign with the Yankees as a free agent and be great again.

Steinbrenner is paying him to suck !
