No, we have one extra one. If you believe in the bible, then we got it from man. If you want to get scientific, they say it's so we're able to hold babies while pregnant. I believe we also have more muscles than a man, too.

I heard this was true from my teacher.. she said that Women are built with one less rib because they need room for a baby to grow if they ever decide to carry and have their own children.
