when the boat in the ocean if I rev the engine in neutral its OK when i shift it engine to drive, full throttle rpm is 1600, no power the plane the 21 foot robalo cc.

Engine is not firing on all cylinders ( could be electrical problem or flooding carb.)
I've got a 115 HP doing the same thing. The only way toget it to plane off is
Full throttle till the boat start making a good wake.
Throttle down till wake hits the back of the boat ,
Then full throttle again.
After a couple of times the RPM's will start to climb & it will plane off.
I don't know wht is wrong with mine yet.
I've been DIY diagnosing.

You can try changing filters??That Eng is all computer an censers. To the dealer you go.

better take it to a decent mechanic before you mess something up big time.
