That happens because we have people here creating havoc. When you get the violation email, appeal it. I have appealed about 6-8 and one was just reversed today. First one, so the system works slowly but there is an indication that it does work to some degree.
I had a violation for the answer "source?", can you believe that?

Ive been in the military for 8 years and still going strong, I have been to Iraq as well. People have their opinions good or bad but I feel as though anyone who isnt in the military or has never been in the past shouldnt have an opinion in what goes on over there. Its our job to know what goes on over there, not yours...I say kick the reporters out of there also. Let us do our job and let us worry about it. Civilians can sit on the sidelines and wait it out they arent doing anything to help the military but voice their opinions as though its gonna change the world all of sudden. Harsh reality get over it!

it is not suitable if it became offensive. we've the applicable to PEACEABLY collect and say despite we want. I even have the applicable to declare "black human beings commit the utmost crime, are stupid, have decrease IQ's than whites, and vandalize too plenty" and that "I hate mexicans" or "I wanna kill somebody in the CIA" All of it is distinctly offensive. regardless of the undeniable fact that, considering that I neither conspired to commit a violent crime, nor did sometihng violent... i'm ALLOWED to declare IT decrease than OUR shape! confident, our united states is coming to a minimum of a few thing terrible.... i'm no longer racist that became an occasion via the way! the element is even the main terrible issues have a suitable to be mentioned... through fact if we limit something from being mentioned... then no longer something of dissent would be waiting to be mentioned, quickly adequate!

Yes, it happens all the time on both sides. I just wish people would realize that, and only hit that abuse key for real violations and not to curb freedom of speech or a difference of opinion

The way that YA enforces it's rules is often arbitrary. I've stopped worrying about it.
The idea that its some sort of liberal bias is nonsense. If that were true there would never be any questions critical of the left and there are plenty of them.

did you ask a question about iraq? Or was it just a statement coming from you? They will take questions off if it is not a question. Refer to the community guidelines for help on other things also.

You lose 5 points for asking a question. You gain 2 by chosing a top answer.
Thats about it. If you want to keep increasing your score - stop asking questions and start answering them.

once someone pushes report abuse, you get a violation notice. I really dont think theres any Yahoo employee screening the 'report abuse' Q&As. If you didnt violate the terms, email Yahoo and make your argument.

Read my latest question as well as the best answer I chose, i think it will completely answer any and all thoughts and questions you could have on this.
PS -- I think its hilarious the guy who implied that liberals rate good answers down if they disagree now has 7 thumbs down.
Edit -- that 7 thumbs down has skyrocketed to 11! please notice that this guy answered the question with HIS opinion, even if you think his opinion is wrong you have no right to thumbs down it, I also see I've been given a thumbs down, go me!
