any of the yamaha, honda, kawasaki and suzuki bikes are fine, although some models had more problems than others, i would stay away from off brands

They are more reliable than some other brand.... i would choose yami anyday, parts for them are cheaper than honda, ktm, kwaka, suzuki. Parts are also easy to come by. As i have worked in a yamaha franchise and all other brands, They are very fast moving, yamahas sell easier to.

Personally, I don't care for Yamaha.
They have a reputation for making junk.
But their dirt bikes are reliable, with good performance.
