It's just another idea they stole from predecessors they emulate, this one from the People's Democratic Republic, the repressive East Germany Communist country. More so, Republican accomplishments! there aren't any!!. All ot their programs have failed because they were doomed from the start with having no wining strategy, abusive management or inadequate funding or in many instances, all three. Even yet, they have spend excessively on defense, have lost the Iraq War militarily and are still fighting to win a supportive moral victory from the American public and the World.

Because our society has ADD and the media only care about titles and short stuff, not pages and pages of content.

Republicans could pass a bill that allows for Ethnic Cleansing, title it the Improvement of America Act, the media would call it that, and the people would have no idea what it really does.

Funding from public education should be withdrawn if all it can produce is little heads full of mush that pose such questions. Support should go to private education. Of course employers should have the right to fire people. It's their company, right? Marriage is between men and women. No exceptions. If you're not doing anything wrong, don't worry about the Patriot Act. It's protecting your right to be silly.

You are correct on some of your points -- it's standard marketing tactics.

Right to Work actually means you cannot be compelled to join a union to be hired -- that's independent of "Employment at Will" which is the company's right to fire you.

And thanks to the Help America Vote Act, there's nothing requiring that anyone counts those votes using provisional ballots. And Fair Pay Overtime, people lose overtime.

The answer-because people believe it. They can't be bothered to read more than a healdline.

so true my brother...we can thank rove and his flying monkeys for raising the art of deception to the point of verifiable certainty. what's more amazing is the number of "true believers" who defend the practice by their "willful ignorance". they will accuse you of not knowing what you're talking about or being deceptive.

bush gave the biggest increase to education in the history of the U.S., even after the recent year cutbacks. I think it's pathetic for libs to say he is taking money away from education after his increases.

Right to work means someone has the right to work without being forced to give their money to a union.

I don't know what you are talking about regarding the marriage.

the patriot act: Name one person who was 'spied' upon, or who lost any rights. Stop believing people like jon stewart who are just supposed to be an entertainment source, not a news source.
