How the hell can some people not blame the mother for this? No 8 year old kid knows the F-word and other swears without hearing it somewhere else, almost always at home. If the kid is in public and hears some punks using those words, the mother should teach him that it is wrong to use them. Also, little kids like these learn violent behavior from television or possibly domestic violence within the household. The parents need to censor what crap the kid is watching, and if there is a domestic problem, they need to either get over it, or divorce. A 8-year-old boy doesn't need to live in that kind of environment. If there's any blame here, it all goes to the mother or father. Speaking of the father, where is he? I am very curious as to where he is when all this is happening. This kid needs some help. He needs to see a counselor or a psychiatrist to figure out what's wrong with the kid's head, what's wrong with his household, or probably both. If these problems aren't addressed, he will grow up to be a complete psychopath, and will have to be contained in prison. "Well, you probably deserved it"?? Are you kidding me? She acts as if what he did was nothing, and he got punished enough. That kid needs to be taken away from her, as quickly as possible. That woman doesn't deserve to call herself a mother, much less a decent mother.

This seems odd.

The Republicans have lost both the Congress and the Senate, and several governors races (like here in Ohio, where Democrat Governor Ted Strickland is doing very well.) The President has a current popularity rating of -75% or something (I can't find the current number online, since the Karl Rove stories are clogging every Google search.) The turnout for the Iowa Straw poll was light, indicating a lack of enthusiam in Republican voters.

While the Democratic Congress is also doing poorly, it is likely the Democrats will retain control in 2008 (the key numbers would be individual senator's and representative's popularity in their own districts, which is not being reported.)

Are you sure the Democrats failing?

First off, liberalism is an political ideology, not a party. Secondly, I, personally, believe that, if we are to "celebrate" failures (not that I would), the Bush administrations handling of the Iraq War would top the list.

Most of the TRUE liberals I know are, oddly enough, leaning toward a particular Republican this year.

National Failures Day...Hmmm...definitly sums up the current majority in Congress! Well done Liberals, well done!

I think there can be a more proactive way to get more people to accept the fact that the liberal party in America is what has caused any and all of the economic problems.

It really does no good to berate them this way. Know what you are talking about, speak it in a clear concise manner, and perhaps they will begin to understand.

Huh?

And which party do "liberals" supposedly belong to?

Which party do George Bush and Rudy Guiliani belong to these days with their pro-choice and pro-immigration stances?

If you were MY aunt, you would be educated enough to know that Liberals are not a party... regardless of what FOX news says...
