I think so, but there is always someone who asks a question but they don't care if there is an answer.

Well, I know that when I'm asking a question, people's answers mean a lot to me. I get upset when people seem to take my questions as a joke, or leave one word answers.
Too many people answer questions for points, and not to be helpful. You can definitely tell who's being helpful and who's answering for points. The well-thought out, sincerely helpful answers truly matter to me, the careless, one word spelled wrong answers from people who seem not to care don't matter to me as much.
I think if you put thought into your answers, people appreciate them.

Well that all depends on the question, certain questions a very important and matter very much. Then there are some that make me laugh and matter because it brought a smile to my face. To a certain degree all questions matter to those who answer or they wouldn't take the time to answer!

when they are asking serious questions, not just retarded stuff to pass the time, well yeah, I think it does matter. I know I've recieved and used some really good advice from people on here, and some of it has changed my life for the better.

well, in pollz and surveyz, when they ask a question, it is usually about ur opinion and of course they have their own opinionz so in this category it really doesn't matter, but in otherz that ask like "how do i..." it probably does.
