I was watching the movie "Black Hawk Down" and made me realize that its always us American dying for other's cause. No one will ever do anything unless we go step in.

I understand its a humanatarian thing to do, but its our people that always ends up getting killed.

Why doesn't anyone step up and fix this crisis instead of waiting on us?

No, the world is waiting on Americans to solve the crisis it started in Iraq.

America has played "daddy" to the world for the last 100 years, enabling most of the other nations (excepting Britain, Australia, Canada, etc.) to let us do the heavy lifting while they all concentrate on their own problems. It is shameful that so many countries that can help don't have the will to do so. Those that do nothing are usually the ones who criticize what we do. When Bosnia was in turmoil several years ago the rest of Europe sat on their hands until the US finally got tired of it and ended the war. If someone needs to step on Iran it will be left to the US to do it. George Clooney went before the UN and shamed them, and yet nothing has been done.

Bush grew to become into not overly communicative on the Darfur/Sudan matters, or different atrocities plaguing the African continent… an excellent sort of the advocates for the disaster are actors or different persons that are frequently given a platform in keeping with their call. I wish extra interest could be centred interior the area, because of the fact the persons have been suffering for years. My understanding – there’s not adequate funds (sources) interior the area for us to care adequate.

No else has the political will ( or money or military ) to do it. As you can tell, the UN is ball-less when it comes to action. As are most other countries. The US should make a statement that it's time the other countries rise up and take some leadership on this. And if they let Darfur go, then we can blame all THEM for letting it happen.

Of course they are. Once we get in, they will then blame us for causing it. Maybe the isolationists 100 years ago had a point.

because us liberals only want things handed to us, and with most of the world supporting us, nothing is ever done, and more people die
