I know you can use baby oil but it doesn't work that well.

We always used Wesson oil; cheap and works way better than baby oil.

Dawn dishwashing liquid. That is what they use to clean the animals from oil spills in the water.

Goo Gone. It is in the automotive department at Kmart. You can also use gasoline or kerosene. But you have to be very careful that you don't start a fire or breathe in fumes.

When I get tar on my car, I use butter and it works fine.
Maybe it will work equally well on your feet.
