Describe in your own words what the definition of ugly is to you.
Mine: When I look at people I don't think anyone is ugly in how they look. I see ugliness in how someone acts, things they do or say.
and by the way, that phrase "butt ugly" doesn't make sense to me, I have seen some really cute butt's!! lol

I agree there are some nice butts out there!! And ugly is so much more than a face, Ugly to me is more a person's attitude and personality.

I totally agree with you. I don't think anyone should say whether a person is ugly or not visually, as none of us can help how we look, really. But telling someone they are ugly is saying more about the person saying it than anything else. We can control what the say.

Ugly to me means nothing. Ugly and Beauty are only in your mind. If you think you are ugly, then you are ugly. If you think you are beautiful, then you are beautiful. Those 2 words are just a way to describe how you look at yourself. Overall I agree with what you said.

Ugly should be about character and behaviour not about looks.
Selfishness, greed, pride, hate. These are Ugly.
Whereas someone who on first appearances who is not good looking can become beautiful to the beholder because of their character which shines through.

I'm not going to get pretentious about it... ugly, to me, means posessing a crappy-looking face or personality, or anything that is deficient in the aesthetics department. It could even be some product, like an ugly floor, too.
You know ugly when you see it, and I think just about everybody who has eyes would be lying to themselves if they disagree when I say you can pick an ugly-looking person out in a crowd of attractive people.

I agree with you. A person's actions can make them ugly. I believe that everyone can be beautiful, they just have to feel beautiful first. But in other instances ugly is something that you cannot bare to look at. Something that makes your face cringe when you see it...

I find that ugly denotes a personality trait rather than appearance. Even the blind can be a good judge of ugliness.
