I prefer my turkey warm, with gravy on the side... :)

Actually it's better to make dietary changes gradually, so your body can adjust and you have a better chance of sticking with them. If you decide a week down the road that you absolutely positively must have a burger, it's ok, you haven't failed...You're still cutting down from eating meat every day to once a week, then once a month... Eventually you are meat-free and don't even miss it!

Learn about diet and nutrition first. Make some friends who are vegan. I don't know much about it, bu t I am pretty sure if you just go cold turkey you risk malnutrition while you learn.
